在CADLIS项目启动大会暨成果汇报大会上的致词

Ladies and Gentlemen,

it is my great pleasure to be here at the "China Academic Digital Library project foundation ceremony".And I'm also honored to have a chance to give an address on behalf of NII or National Institute of Informatics, Japan.
First of all, I would like to congratulate great success of CALIS in the bibliographic utility area.Bibliographic utility service was started by famous OCLC in 1970.
In Asian countries, NII, then NACSIS, started bibliographic utility service in 1984.CALIS, as far as I know, is the newest bibliographic utility in the world,which started its online service in year 2000.In spite of its short history, CALIS already achieved a brilliant success.

In the second place, I would like to put stress on our cooperation of data exchange.
CALIS has developed Japanese publication database, and with the effort of
China Agricultural University Library, NII offers data for CALIS database production.

And the last but not the least is this new digital library project.
I would like to give high praise to the progressive attitude of CALIS.
With their ability and leadership, I believe this project will achieve a great success.

皆さん今日は。

ここCADLIS創立祝賀会に出席して,、日本情報学研究所 NIIを代表して祝辞を述べることは大変喜ばしく、また名誉なことであります。
最初にCALISの書誌ユーティリティ分野での偉大ない成功をたたえたいと思います。
1970年にかの有名な OCLC が書誌ユーティリティサービスを始めました。
アジアは、NII 当時のNACSIS が 1984年に書誌ユーティリティを始めています。
CALIS は私の知る限り、世界で最も新しい書誌ユーティリティで 2000 年にオンラインサービスを開始しました。その短い歴史にもかかわらず、CALISは輝かしい成功を収めています。
2番目に、われわれの間のデータ交換について強調したいと思います。CALISは、日本語文献のデータベースを開発し、中国農業大学図書館の努力によってNIIからデータを提供してこのデータベースを構築することが行われています。
最後に、しかし大変重要なのが今回のディジタルライブラリプロジェクトです。CALISの進歩的態度に賞賛を送りたいと思います。その、能力とリーダーシップによって、このプロジェクトは必ず成功すると信じています。
